On September 16, 2017, the Qingpu Grand View Garden Expansion Base was bathed in bright sunshine and gentle breeze, welcoming 22 young and middle-aged talents from Jinghe Industrial. Led by Assistant General Manager Wang Wenjing and Vice President Lu Yingkun, they spent a rich and colorful day of expansion.
After arriving at the expansion base, they were divided into red and blue teams. Team leaders were elected to design team flags and determine team names. Zhou Junlin was appointed as the captain of the War Wolf Team, and Wang Zhongwei was appointed as the captain of the Blade Team. The real-person CS competition was impressive. Although the Blade Team defeated the Wolf Team by a large margin, in the undercover operation of Infernal Affairs, the Blade Team, with strong individual abilities, lost to their teammates with excellent acting skills. The "Group Dragon Fetching Water" project requires the adoption of standard movements and full trust in the team's strength. Through meticulous research, the Blade Team overcame the disadvantage of uneven physical fitness among its members and won the competition. The blind side is precisely a project that tests the accuracy of information transmission. Under the condition of being blindfolded and not allowed to communicate normally, they formed the largest square. The War Wolf Team united as one and carefully planned, and eventually won.
After the expansion activity, the company organized a sharing session to express feelings, and the trainees spoke up one after another to express their views.
Zhou Junlin: Teamwork, Trust, Inclusiveness. The War Wolf Team came in second place. As the captain, he was under great pressure. However, after the game failure, he did not give up or complain. Instead, he broke his body's instinctive reaction, trusted the team, and defeated the impossible. Our lack of experience lies in accumulation, our insufficiency in ability lies in challenges, and we are always striving forward.
Zhou Wenbin: Teams need to communicate and trust each other more, and complete tasks through division of labor and collaboration. Although there are plans in the game, due to the lack of practical experience, even small problems can lead to failure. When doing things at work, one should have a plan and fully consider the occurrence of all kinds of situations.
Zhang Lihui: The expansion activities test teamwork. By offering suggestions and strategies, we can achieve unified thinking, clear division of labor, working together with one heart, and clear goals. In the blind Square game, due to touching a tree and failing to provide timely feedback and communication, the game failed. From this, I realized that no matter what you do, you must first find the correct method and have a plan. When problems arise during execution, they must be communicated in a timely manner to achieve the expected goal and complete the task.
Zhu Yongyi: In the undercover battle of the CS project, everyone was challenged. Both teams needed to eliminate the undercover agents, and the undercover agents not only had to hide themselves but also defeat the opponents, which put more psychological pressure on them. In the blind person's squareness, although there were flaws, the goal was accomplished in accordance with the set objective. On the new product project 6001, we have never done it before. Although the requirements are very high, we dare to try. The plans issued by the Manufacturing department are communicated with the workshops, with clear division of labor and thorough preparations. Trust the previous and subsequent processes, and unity is strength.
Wang Wenjing: The expansion activities are novel. In the future, we will plan more interesting expansion activities to temper everyone's willpower. Summarizing the success and failure of this expansion, we won due to trust and lost due to suspicion. In the real-person CS undercover battle, the Blade Team had extremely strong individual abilities. Due to suspicion, they caused internal friction and eventually lost the game. Whether it is a team or an enterprise, internal friction is definitely the most harmful cancer. Be sure to be confident and trust your teammates. Although the War Wolf Team lost the entire game, they never complained and always followed the captain's instructions. Unfortunately, the participation of their teammates was insufficient. The characteristics of the Blade Team are that every member is very proactive, with a strong desire to win and a strong sense of competitiveness. However, they lost in the last round due to complacency. We should play to our strengths, avoid our weaknesses, and unite as one. We are sure to overcome some difficulties and achieve even better results.
This youth cadre study class held a small-scale expansion activity. The company plans to organize other more interesting and challenging expansion activities next year to train team collaboration, break out of comfort zones, overcome difficulties, enhance team cohesion, and share their insights and gains after each activity. We firmly believe that under the wise leadership of Jinghe's senior management, we will share the same goal and strive forward. We are willing to walk hand in hand with Jinghe and share a bright future together!
