On March 5, 2023, Jinghe Elite Training Class welcomed the second phase of Jinghe Talent Cultivation Course - the construction and implementation of Competency Models. All the trainees were filled with enthusiasm, remained true to their original aspirations, and continued their training journey with composure. When you are passionate about training work, you will find that your continuation will not be a burden. Instead, it is a kind of happy activity. Now, let's introduce this issue's course with a cheerful atmosphere!
Jinghe Industrial held a co-creation workshop on the model of cadres' ability and quality. All functional centers, core management personnel and business backbones gathered together to jointly discuss the ability and quality requirements for Jinghe cadres, pool their wisdom and efforts to build a cadre quality model, assist in improving the talent management system, and inject talent impetus into the high-quality development of Jinghe.
During the one-day course, Teacher Shao adopted a guiding experiential teaching mode to stimulate the students' interest and participation in learning. The practical teaching approach oriented towards "applying what has been learned" made him attach great importance to the organic combination of the theoretical nature of the course content and the practical operation of work. The workshop was held in an atmosphere of "free expression and co-creation and sharing". Each group used the "Ability and Quality Dictionary Card" as a tool to explore the ability and quality as well as value traits that Jinghe cadres should possess, and summarized and integrated the key indicators. In class, based on the job descriptions, we used Beisen GENE3.0 and Lominger ability dictionary cards to summarize the current abilities required for each position and carry out targeted improvement plans.
After the training course ended, the members of our first and second tiers also actively carried out post-class review work. Everyone built up their competencies through the "Agile Modeling Five-Step Method" and the Lominger67 ability cards, and applied this to the career planning they planned to improve this year. We have truly transformed the training content into practical application and continuously applied it in our work.
A review is a retrospective of the entire process, and it is not easy to miss any link. The more attention is paid to details, the more chances there are to find differentiation and enhance competitiveness. After class, when the trainees were constantly thinking about various possibilities, there was no doubt that the overall combat ability of the team had improved. If such discussions and reflections can be refined into a methodology, it will also greatly enhance the efficiency of future execution. From the perspective of each member, the thinking of retrospection is also a kind of growth thinking, which is conducive to the improvement of personal abilities.
Through this training on the construction and implementation of the competency model by Teacher Shao, the trainees have grasped the significance of building a job competency model. It is also a great self-improvement for our trainees. As the saying goes, "No effort, no harvest." We believe that our trainees will strive to improve themselves and bravely face more challenges in their future studies and work.
Although this training and learning has come to an end, there are still heavier study and work tasks ahead. Thoughts are in our minds and work tasks are in our hands. It's better to act than to just talk. No matter how far the road is, if you keep moving forward, you will eventually reach your destination. Though the task is difficult, it will surely succeed if you do it. Let's take advantage of Jinghe's "Starting with the heart, cultivating talents, and unfolding grand plans" initiative to establish the concept of long-term learning: strive to study hard to become a qualified middle-level manager and work hard to cultivate more talents needed by the enterprise.
